I was born here in the Valley and raised between two cultures, Mexico and the United States. Like a lot of families here, we lived on both sides of the border, and both are home to me.
I got my first construction job at 15, working summers during high school. I started as a helper laying floors, and before long I was laying them on my own. That's where it clicked: I loved building, and I knew this was what I wanted to do.
I went on to UTRGV, earned my degree in Mechanical Engineering with a certificate in Petroleum Engineering, and I've worked as an engineer in oil and gas across West Texas, East Texas, Colorado and Oklahoma. That world taught me to check every number twice and to never cut corners on safety.
The whole time, I kept the dream alive. I lived lean, saved every paycheck I could and started investing in properties here in the Valley. That's how GAREL was born.
My goal is simple: I want every family that builds with us to walk into their home and feel proud of it. Safe, built right, and with the quality the Valley deserves.

Nací aquí en el Valle y crecí entre dos culturas, México y Estados Unidos. Como muchas familias de la frontera, vivimos de los dos lados, y los dos son mi casa.
A los 15 años, en los veranos de la prepa, conseguí mi primer trabajo en construcción. Empecé de ayudante poniendo pisos y al poco tiempo ya los ponía yo solo. Ahí me nació el gusto por construir.
Estudié en UTRGV, me recibí de Ingeniero Mecánico con certificado en Ingeniería Petrolera, y he trabajado como ingeniero en el petróleo en West Texas, East Texas, Colorado y Oklahoma. Ahí aprendí a revisar cada número dos veces y a no recortar nada en seguridad.
Nunca solté el sueño. Viví con lo mínimo, ahorré cada cheque que pude y empecé a invertir en propiedades aquí en el Valle. Así nació GAREL.
Mi meta es sencilla: que cada familia que construya con nosotros entre a su casa y se sienta orgullosa. Segura, bien hecha y con la calidad que el Valle se merece.
